I’m an overseas investor who found Noel’s details online. I needed a detailed survey on a house I was purchasing in Harold’s Cross which was quite old an could have been a “money pit”. I contacted Noel directly and he managed everything from the start: from contacting the agent, to key collection and delivery.

It took half a day to conduct the survey and I had an excellent report in mailbox the next day, which was over the weekend. Noel identified critical failings with the house and explained all the full report to me in layman’s term via Skype call. In addition, Noel went the extra mile and researched the area to discover that the property was previously flooded, contrary to what the agent told me. I rejected the property based on there report and looked for an alternative investment. Within a week, I went sale agreed on a apartment in Chapelizod . The apartment was in excellent shape but I still wanted to have an expert look at it so I could be confident of my investment. I contacted Noel again and he suggested a reduced report initially to save me money; I went with his recommendation and received a full survey but a reduced report—this was exactly what I needed and it saved me money. In short, dealing with Noel was a excellent experience, based on his speed of communication, friendliness, detailed yet hands-on approach and cost effectiveness.

Buying a house is a stressful and costly experience and you will come across some undesirable characters so Noel’s key selling point for me was his trustworthiness—he’s a very down-to-earth approachable guy. Basically Noel, I am looking to improve the building to a really good standard.
I want advice from an independent person on an energy efficient heating system suitable for the building type, someone who can look at the building and tell me the necessary and most beneficial methods to make the place future proof.(windows floors walls roof).
We have engaged a conservation architect because we intend to extend and want the planning to go as smoothly as possible.( but they won’t be designing a heating system) & I want both parts of the building to work well together. We are lucky because my husband David supplies conservation materials (damp proofing & internal insulation ) I will be project managing the restoration myself and I feel someone with your experience and knowledge would be able to guide me the the right directions.????
